About Us

The Webster Lake Anglers is an amateur bass fishing club located in Webster, MA.  Founded in 1983, the WLA is one of the oldest bass fishing clubs in Massachusetts.  Our tournament trail consists of six tournaments held on various lakes and rivers, mainly in Central Mass.  Favorite spots include Webster Lake, Lake Manchaug, Lake Singletary, the Nashua River, Lake Shirley and the Connecticut River, to name a few.  In addition to our tournament trail, we hold a Youth Event each June.

We are a member club of the North East Bass Association of MA (NEBA of MA).  Many WLA members choose to fish the NEBA of MA tournament trail as well.  WLA members also have an opportunity to fish the two-day NEBA of MA Tournament of Champions.  The NEBA of MA also holds a Club Championship in which the top five boats from each member club fish as a team against the other member clubs for NEBA of MA bragging rights.

The mission of the WLA is to provide an association between fishermen for the advancement of the sport of fishing, the enjoyment of competition between friends and the appreciation of our natural environment.  The WLA is further dedicated to the sport of bass fishing, the good fellowship of our members, the promotion of our club, the introduction of the sport to others and involvement in our community.

Boaters and non-boaters are encouraged to join and participate in our tournaments and community activities.  If you are interested in joining, click on the “Contact Information” navigation button to find out how to get in touch with us.
